I got this Slim 50 gal tank for my mobile detail setup. The low profile is a lifesaver — I can slide it behind seats or in the cargo area without it sticking out. It’s strong plastic (UV-stabilized, FDA-compliant) and so far no cracks or warps. Only slight issue: connecting the outlets was fiddly until I got the right adapters. But overall, very happy.

Okay let me tell ya — I’ve tested a bunch of tanks over the years, and this Slim 50 gal is one of the better ones. The “slim / low profile” claim is real: I stuck it in my pickup bed under a shell, and it doesn’t block my rear view or interfere with other gear. On a typical wash job I can run 2–3 cars before needing a refill. The material seems tough — UV stabilized so I’ve left it out in sun and no yellowing or brittleness so far.
Minor annoyances: sometimes the molded 3/4″ outlets aren’t exactly where I want them for hose runs, so I had to use extra fittings & elbows. Also when it’s nearly full, the slosh can shift things — you’ll want good tie-downs. But for price vs performance, I feel this is a solid pick.

You know that moment when you load up your truck, thinking “this is gonna be a mess,” and then everything fits perfectly? That happened with this tank. The slim design fooled me — I thought I’d have to reconfigure my setup, but nah, it slid right in. The water capacity is generous, I could wash two trucks + a sedan before the tank started getting low.
Only weird thing: airflow while filling sometimes I hear “glug-glug” noises (air trying to escape) which slows fill a bit. Also, the width is “low profile” but still takes a fair chunk of space sideways — on super tight vans you’ll want to measure. But man, this thing gives me confidence for bigger jobs.
